Amongst them, Maisel is curious as to level at which TP2 will be involved and Schalabach echoes his recently revised Top 25 sentiments that the Bucks are, in fact, the team to beat in 2008.

Echoing the sentiments of an earlier pre-game Archie Griffin speech encouraging the pursuit of his "Three D's" of life - "Desire, Dedication and Determination", the Ohio State Baseball Team showed surreal resolve rallying from an 0-11 defecit to top the University of Buffalo with a walk-off 14-13 victory.

The football team's slogan is "FUN: Fierce Urgency of Now," from Martin Luther King, Jr., by way of Barack Obama (HT: Scott). Some nice quotes from several players and Tressel in this video at WFNY. Just, uh, ignore the first fifteen seconds or so.

After a lack luster 1-3 series in Ann Arbor , Ohio State bounced back in a huge way topping Marshall 8-1, moving to 25-21 on the season. The Bucks, a long shot for the NCAAs at this point, still have an outside shot at the 3rd seed in the forthcoming Big 10 tournament, but will need to likely wheel off 6 out of 8 in their forthcoming serieses with Illinois and Iowa.

Head out to cheer on the Buckeyes at Bill Davis Stadium during this weekend's homestand with currently 3rd place Illinois. Friday night's game will feature post game fireworks, and free haircuts can be had at each of Saturday afternoon's doubleheader. Sunday afternoon's game is also Senior Day, so those in the area be sure to come out and show your appreciation to Dan DeLucia, Chris Macke, Tony Kennedy, and Rory Meister.

This Doug Lesmerises blurb points out how President Gee's desire to move to semesters could end up helping the basketball team's APR but at the same time take away the football team's month of football before school (which may also mean larger season ticket packages for students).
